Investment Operations Associate Job Description
Location: Remote/Hybrid

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented associate to support our growing Operations team. This role will be instrumental in facilitating day-to-day trade operations, focusing on trade settlement, collateral management, and trade reconciliation across Simplify's product offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and third-party vendors to ensure operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency within Simplify’s dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires a quantitative bent, experience working with alternative strategies, particularly quantitative investment strategies and a robust background in client operations, onboarding, and transitions at leading asset management firms or custodian banks.
What You Will Do:
- Support daily fund operations by managing trade settlements, cash management, reconciliations, corporate actions, and pricing support to maintain operational accuracy and timeliness.
- Facilitate the full trade lifecycle, from booking through to settlement, while identifying and resolving trade discrepancies, preparing daily and ad-hoc operational reports, and ensuring smooth, timely execution.
- Execute collateral and margin processing for derivative trades, collaborating with internal teams and external parties to optimize collateral management practices.
- Serve as a key contact for third-party vendors, managing service expectations, ensuring reconciliation accuracy, and upholding quality control.
- Conduct fund accounting tasks such as validating NAV calculations, monitoring expenses, providing pricing support, and addressing financial reporting requirements in collaboration with fund administrators.
- Liaise with trading desks and risk management teams to ensure smooth collateral operations and adherence to asset allocation and compliance policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risks, and maintain Simplify’s strong internal control environment.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance and support operational updates.

What You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (CFA, CAIA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or back-office operations within asset management or custodian banks.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the asset management industry.
- Prior experience in 40 Act fund and separately managed account operations, trade settlement, cash management, and corporate actions.
- Experience with cleared and OTC derivatives (accounting, valuation, and reconciliation), collateral management strategies, prime brokerage, and Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
- Proficiency with fund accounting systems, order management systems, and relevant software (e.g., Eze OMS, Tri-Optima).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Fund Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a value-added contributor across various operational functions including fund operations, fund accounting, back-office operations, and client onboarding. This role requires a quantitative bent, experience working with alternative strategies, particularly quantitative investment strategies and a robust background in client operations, onboarding, and transitions at leading asset management firms or custodian banks.
What You Will Do:

Internal Sales Account Associate
Simplify Asset Management is a newly established ETF issuer and RIA created by a group of accomplished asset management veterans. Our goal is to help advisors tackle the most pressing portfolio challenges with an innovative set of options-based strategies. By accounting for real-world investor needs and market behavior, along with the non-linear power of options, our strategies allow for the tailored portfolio outcomes clients are looking for.
We are looking to hire an Internal Sales Account Manager. The role will focus on developing relationships with RIA and financial advisory firms across the US. We can be flexible on location but have a strong preference for NYC metro based. We are building out our sales team with a smart, motivated, and interesting individuals, who are excited to build something unique, learn a lot, and have fun in the process.
Responsibilities:

Work closely with senior sales team members to drive sales of Simplify’s ETFs within the financial advisory community.

Proactively reach out to advisors via phone and email to engage, assess, and offer solutions

Establish and execute consistent follow up strategy with clients to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships.

What You’ll Do:
